What we’re scoring
The earliest captured affirmative 2026 backup identity forecast is the May 25 Wilson call. I have a feeling is a forecast, not a question or wish. Preserve the original choice and do not cherry-pick the later correct Klubnik change. The late-July arrival speculation is not counted as an extra correlated prediction. Earlier April text only says Klubnik can be a future long-term backup and is not a firm 2026 selection. Jev flagged omission of the late-July timing; the final wording restores it. CBS, the new employer, confirms the June retirement/broadcast move. The role forecast is contradicted, and no separate arrival-time bet is added.
The ruling
The Jets announced Cade Klubnik as their backup on August 31. The team article explicitly says Klubnik will begin the NFL season as Geno Smith's backup against Tennessee on September 13. This contradicts the earlier Wilson prediction; later Klubnik calls are preserved as revisions rather than new wins.
