What we’re scoring
Separate explicit no-second-round valuation from the retention forecast. No-trade premise leaves this hypothetical price untested; do not count retention as a won price prediction.
The ruling
McDonald remained with the Jets past the 2025 deadline and played against Cleveland on November 9. No trade occurred to test the predicted compensation ceiling.

Separate explicit no-second-round valuation from the retention forecast. No-trade premise leaves this hypothetical price untested; do not count retention as a won price prediction. Jev advisory reviewed: Reviewed full public roster-export context: purge after London for draft capital now, not an unspecified lifetime exit. That supplies the current 2025 trade window for Quinnen, Quincy, Lazard, Hall and McDonald. Reject Jev fidelity objections to inferred deadline normalization on those grounds. Quinnen trade correct, Quincy and Lazard trades incorrect, Hall and McDonald retention correct. Preserve earlier Quinnen forecast with later offseason-timing revision rather than scoring a second departure. Compensation ceiling on Quinnen incorrect. Hall extension-or-tag correct. McDonald hypothetical compensation is void because no trade occurred, consistent with Jev insufficient rather than a vacuous won bet. Maybe-seventh Quincy/Lazard amounts remain possibilities, not separate firm predictions.
